New Era are pleased to announce that client Tom Clarke has joined Salford City FC on a permanent deal. 

Tom makes the move to Greater Manchester from Preston North End, where he spent seven years, making over 250 appearances for the Club and captaining the side.

Across his career, Tom has played for sides including Bradford City and Leyton Orient, as well as representing England at Under 18s and 19s level. 

He has twice achieved promotion to the Championship, with Preston in 2014/15 and Huddersfield Town in 2011/12. 

He now signs a two-year deal at the Peninsula Stadium and brings a wealth of experience to the Ammies’ defence.
