Congratulations to James Tilley who has joined Cork City on loan until the end of the season. 

A promising talent with a strong left foot, James has established himself as a key player within  Brighton and Hove Albion’s under 23s side since signing his professional contract in 2015 and now looks to gain first team experience with Cork in the League of Ireland Premier Division. 

James concluded the 2016/17 season as the top goal-scorer for the u23 side, having scored 13 goals to help Brighton achieve promotion to Premier League 2 in the 2017/18 season.

He has also featured for Brighton’s first team, making his debut at the end of the 2014/15 season and has since made 3 senior team appearances, including scoring the winning goal in Brighton’s senior team’s win in the Carabao Cup against Barnet in 2017.  

He hopes to continue his scoring form whilst on loan at Cork City and all at New Era would like to wish him well in his time at the Club.
