Danny Rose Joins Swindon Town

Congratulations to client Danny Rose who has joined Swindon Town on a permanent deal.

A left-footed midfielder, Danny makes the move from Portsmouth, signing initially to the end of the season, with an option to extend his contract. 

Danny began his career at Manchester United, featuring in and captaining their reserve squad. He was loaned to Oxford United in 2007 and impressed at the Kassam Stadium, signing for the side that Summer.

Following a move to Newport County in 2008, Danny helped side to the Conference South title in 2009/10. He remained at Newport until 2012, scoring 36 goals in 165 appearances. 

Danny was then sold to Fleetwood Town in January 2012 and won the Conference Premier title with the side.

After a loan to Aldershot Town, Danny returned to Oxford United before joining Northampton Town. He was part of the squad that won the League Two title, before moving on to Portsmouth in 2016.

In his maiden season with Portsmouth, Danny featured 38 time, scoring five goals and winning Sky Bet League Two that season. 
 
Danny now links up with the League Two Swindon Town and aims to repeat his prior successes and help Swindon challenge for promotion this season. All at New Era would like to wish Danny the very best for his career at the Club.
