Todd Kane Joins Queens Park Rangers

27th July 2019

Congratulations to client Todd Kane who has joined Queens Park Rangers on a three-year deal.

Todd joined Chelsea as an under 8, spending 17 years at the Club and captaining both the under 18s and under 21s sides. He regularly challenged for Chelsea’s first team and was selected in the squad that travelled to the Champions League Final in 2012.

Todd gained experience on a number of loan spells in the Championship and League One, as well as the Dutch Eredivisie, at sides including Blackburn Rovers, Bristol City, Nottingham Forest and NEC Nijmegen.

Last season, Todd played 41 games in all competitions for Hull City.

Queens Park Rangers manager Mark Warburton is delighted to have Todd on board and has praised his defensive attributes. He said “Todd is a player who I’ve watched right throughout the academy system. He joined Chelsea at a young age and I watched his performances for Hull last season, where he showed his qualities as an attack-minded and technically-gifted full-back.”

All at New Era would like to wish Todd the very best for the next step in his career and look forward to watching him in the Championship next season.
