Our co-founders, Jamie Moralee and Pete Smith, both met whilst playing for Brighton and Hove Albion and during their playing career’s discovered a new type of management agency was needed, one that took into account every aspect of a players life.
So in 2008, New Era was born.
Since then, the agency has thrived, with the pair using their real life experiences in the game to create an unrivalled management experience for our clients,

Jamie Moralee
Co-Founder
Jamie started his career at Crystal Palace, before joining Millwall in 1992. He scored 20 goals in 76 appearances for the Bermondsey side over two seasons.
Jamie went on to play for the likes of Watford, Crewe Alexandra and Brighton and Hove Albion in a playing career spanning 16 years.
Pete Smith
Co-Founder
Peter played for Brighton and Hove Albion between 1994 and 1999, making over 160 appearances for the Seagulls. After his professional football career came to an end, Peter returned back to his studies at Greenwich University. He then joined the Professional Football Association, specialising as a Licensed FA Football Agent and a Commercial Executive.
