Callum Elder signs new Leicester City contract

29th July 2016

New Era client and Leicester City left-back, Callum Elder has signed a new contract that will keep him with the club until June 2019.

The Australian youth international has been with Leicester FC since he was 16 years old and became a key member of their development squad before two successful loan spells with Peterborough FC and Mansfield FC.

Last season he featured 21 times for the League One side until the end of December when unfortunately he had to return to his parent club due to injury.

After impressing during his loan spell last season, Leicester City decided to extend Callum’s contract and he is now expected to go out on loan to continue his first team experiences.

Everyone at New Era would like to congratulate Callum on his new contract and we look forward to watching him play his football this season.
